Just a side note....

I would like to say that I do not believe that when my photos were copied and used that the poster did so with ill intent.
In fairness to the poster, she did say she loved the room in general. I just wouldn't use anther's photo's with out permission, and I most definitely wouldn't add a negative comment...but, that's just me!

Not Sure I Like It .....

A friend told me that she saw a couple pictures from my web site on some one's blog spot.
I went there, and sure enough there they were. Somebody had copied a picture of my keeping room and my friend Carol's dinning room.
Crazy as it may sound I feel a bit violated. Comments made on my keeping room were some what critical.
Seems they don't like my" bench", it's actually a church pew from the early 1800's.
I guess when I post a photo I don't consider the fact it can be copied, used by other's and dissected!

I Think I Found My Niche

I love taking pictures. I've always had an artistic/creative side. An eye for detail. I remember as a preteen one of my favorite things to do was clean and rearrange my friend's bedrooms.
My posters of Donny Osmond always had to be perfectly arranged...Yes, I loved Donny!
I'm getting off track here!
When I take pictures, it's more about capturing a mood, especially with indoor shots.
I love the way the sunshine's through the window creating shadows and a clam stillness.
So, since I have discovered this new passion of mine I'm sure I'll be posting lots of photos.
Hope you like them as much as I enjoy taking them.

In my widow

Salt glazed crocks, in my kitchen window.

Good Morning !!

I'm starting to feel like the weather Man with all my post commenting on the weather, but my gosh the weather here in our "neck of the woods" ... let me give give props to Mr Scott...Thanks Willard ...couldn't be better.
It has just been absolutely BEAUTIFUL this summer....blue skies, sunshine, temps in the 70's, and just enough rain to keep things green...heavenly!
Now, I must say I do think my tomatoes and hot peppers would prefer some hotter more humid days....they'll get over it.
I,along with my hair are happy as larks!

Need Cake?

My daughter Jennifer is a wonderful baker.
She has been making cakes for family and friends for years.
Over the years she has made dozen upon dozen of cookies for family, friends and co-workers.
She has decided to start a home based business called Butter N' Flour...I just love that name!
She bakes using only the best ingredients...real butter and vanilla.
She does wonderful cakes in fondant with beautiful cookies and cupcakes that coordinate with her cakes.
Her photo gallery isn't large, she only recently started photographing her cakes.
So, next time you're in need of a sweet treat give Jennifer some consideration....I don't think you'll be disapointed!

Good Moring Everyone,

It's a beautiful crisp moring here in

our little Ohio Burg.

We've been having a pretty mild summer,

and I'm not complaining.

I love it!

Warm days and cool nights,

almost like fall...

My favorite season.

A season that seems to fly by.

Unlike winter that seems to drag on and on.

Don't get me wrong, there are a few good things about winter.

Like....Umm...Well....Christmas is in winter,

and the look of newly fallen snow in the moonlight is

breathtaking.

Ok....I'm rambling.

Oh, it's such a lovely day!

Living Room

I woke early this moring feeling pretty darn good. I thought, maybe I should do some teasure hunting.

I decide to head to my favorite flea market. I left home at the crack of dawn...the birds were still sleeping.

I made the trip in record time.....not one red light....even the one that always seems to get me ....didn't.

So, far my day was looking good......Well, the flea market wasn't

Seems every one decided to stay home and sleep like the birds. I was there, so I might as well look.

I walked and walked....good exercise., and evercise was all I got.

Well, I did get this huge cranberry nut muffin and a coffee.....good thing I walked and walked!
