My Booth...

At " A Gathering In The Hall "

I wish I could share more photos, but I forgot my camera.

My friend Debbie Miller " In The Onion Patch " sent me this photo.

I'll have to see if she has others, if so I'll be sure to post them.

Cuz we need a little Christmas ....

... Right this very minute!
Twas over a month before Christmas
when I said to my spouse,
Oh how I feel like decorating this house!
So, decorating I did and decorating I've done,
Heck, even the stockings are hung.
Come on my friends and I'll show ya some.
There's still more to do,
I have a month,
almost two.
And I'll show ya some more,
once I'm all through!
They're a little blurry too....;)

51 Today...Oh My!

On this date in 1958 Josephine and Orville Starr

became proud parents to their one and only child,

Me!

Our family had a Birthday party tonight.

No, not just for me.

As I have mentioned in past blogs November is BD month,

we have four in one week.

So, tonight we had a big party for all of us.

I haven't felt well for a couple days and didn't really want to go.

I pulled myself together and went anyway, and I'm glad I did,

being with family is good medicine.

I want to thank my dear friend Carol G. for the voice mail

she left me wishing me a Happy Birthday and reminding me I was

" well on my way to becoming a primitive"

I would like to share with you a birthday message from the writings of

Emily Matthews

that my parents gave me today...

Words I can only aspire to.

If you can value truth

above approval,

and friendship over beauty, wealth or fame,

If you can share your gifts

and talents wisely,

leaving someone better off

than when you came,

If you find happiness

in simple pleasures and see the rainbow and not the rain,

If you have faith to keep right on believing

in miracles that no one can explain,

If you look until you see the good in others

and keep your spirit honest, true, and free,

Then you'll be, not just happy and successful,

but the woman only you

were meant to be.

Thank You, Mom and Dad

I Love You Both!
