As for the mess pictured below, well that's the stuff I had the put back in place of the Christmas decorations.
Now, you know it just wouldn't be right to put everything back like it was before...boring!!
So, I popped my favorite Elvis cassette tape into my old stereo......
Yes... Elvis ! ... I love Elvis !... His black leather years were the best....
Suspicious Minds, Kentucky Rain and Memories played while I rearranged, tweaked, vacuumed, mopped, dusted, and sang along.
Right now, the pork is cooking, candles are burning, the washer and dryer are going, I'm blogging and I feel content.
Happy New Year!

Sounds like a fun day! You have some mighty nice antiques there to play with!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY NEW YEAR LINDA, MY FRIEND!!!!....I've been busy tackling my bedroom closet today and working on putting my fabric Christmas things away...They are stored inside...We had a lunch/dinner of ham, cornbread, blackeye peas, and twice baked potatoes(left from last night) with cheesecake for dessert...I hear the washer and dryer going and a ballgame on the television...Everyone is home safe and sound and we're together...A big event to have my 19 year old home with no plans...LOL...Have a good evening my friend!!~~hugs,Jen

I agree it's no fun putting things back the way they were. That's what I'm working on today. Redecorating and cleaning as I go.
